This is the official website of the Celtic Coin Index (CCI), the premier collection of records on late Iron Age coins from Britain. The CCI was founded in 1961 by Derek Allen and Sheppard Frere, and the paper card index now holds nearly 85,000 records of around 68,000 specimens.

The CCI Digital (CCID) website gives you access to the scanned cards and related data. It is made possible by stable numismatic identifiers and linked open data methodologies established by the Nomisma.org project. It feeds directly into the typology website Iron Age Coins in Britain.
